Open Eye Gallery can be found on Wood Street, in the Ropewalks area of Liverpool city centre. Running parallel with Bold Street, one of the city's busiest shopping streets, the Gallery is within five minutes walk of the main rail and bus stations.

Opening times
From June 2009 we enter a transitional period before moving to new premises in 2010. Opening times will be publicised with details of our interim programme of exhibitions and events.

Paradise Street Bus Interchange is five minutes' walk away, near to the waterfront, while Queens Square Bus Station is centrally situated, near to Lime Street rail station. Local bus times can also be found at www.merseytravel.gov.uk
By car (directions from M62)
At the end of the M62, take the A5080 (Bowring Park Road) and follow signs for city centre. Turn left onto the A57 (Islington) and continue straight onto the A5038 (Lime Street). Follow this road, passing (on your left) Lime Street Station and the Adelphi Hotel and (on your right) Rapid Hardware stores. At the crossroads, you will see St. Luke's Church. Nearest car parks
There is an all-day pay and display car park on Mount Pleasant (left after the Adelphi Hotel, see directions above). There are also municipal car parks on Seel Street and Duke Street, both of which run parallel with Wood Street in the Ropewalks area of the city centre.
Wheelchair access
The entrance to Open Eye Gallery is above street level but is fitted with an external vertical platform lift. The gallery is fully accessible throughout by wheelchair and there are toilet facilities for wheelchair users.
There are 5 parking spaces on Wood Street that are reserved for use by disabled drivers (Blue Badge holders). They are located about 50 metres from the gallery (in the direction of FACT) between Concert St. and Slater St.
