Submitting a proposal
Each year Open Eye Gallery receives hundreds of exhibition proposals, many of them of very high quality.
On average we originate four exhibitions per year, and therefore have to reject the vast majority of these proposals.
Each proposal is nonetheless given careful consideration, and we regard this process as an important part of our programme research. Please note that our exhibitions are usually booked at least one year in advance.
If you would like to submit an exhibition proposal, please email info@openeye.org.uk, or send it by post to Open Eye Gallery, 28-32 Wood St, Liverpool L1 4AQ.
Please include:
- CV or biography
- A short description of the proposed exhibition or project
- Reference images - hard copies or digital (PC format)
Please do not send original artwork. If you would like us to return proposals made by post please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope. Please note that we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to unsolicited submitted material.
Unfortunately, due to the number of applications received by Open Eye Gallery, we cannot make appointments to meet with individuals to discuss each application. If we wish to follow up a proposal for further discussion we will contact you to arrange a meeting.
